EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS

Let's engage and raise some funds!

🎶 Time to Dance! 🪩

On May 9th, students get to move and groove at the dance!

This is also a fundraiser!

Family and friends of the Parkdale Community, we encourage you to donate to help support Parkdale PS to be a healthy, equitable and enriching school! School Council has funded:

What will happen at the dance?

The dance will take place throughout the school day on May 9, in the gym. There will be 3-4 sessions with different grade groupings, each lasting 45-60 minutes.

As well, lighting and sound can be adjusted in one of the sessions to better suit students with sensory processing issues.

The dance will have fun neon glow lighting and  a kid-appropriate playlist.

How can donations be made to the dance-a-thon?

Donations can be made by cash or online.

Cash donations should be placed in the pledge form envelope and brought to the office or to the classroom teacher on May 7.

Online donations can be made through our dance-a-thon webpage anytime up to May 9. You can also go directly to the school cash online donation page and select "dance-a-thon" from the drop-down menu.

Online donations are eligible for a tax receipt.

A portion of funds raised will also pay the vendor, Professor Jamz, for organizing and running the event.

If you are interested in learning more about how initiatives are approved or you have an idea you'd like to explore, please reach out to parkdaleparentcouncil@gmail.com
